2. Employment Terms

Employment Status Employees are categorized into full-time, part-time, temporary, and contracted roles. This designation affects benefits eligibility, pay structure, and employment rights. Probation Period All new employees will undergo a probationary period lasting three months. During this time, your performance, reliability, and cultural fit within the organization will be assessed. At the end of the probation period, your manager will conduct a formal review to decide if your employment will continue. Working Hours and Flexibility Your standard working hours will be outlined in your contract. Shift work may be required, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, depending on the operational needs of the business. Medall Healthcare recognizes the importance of work-life balance and will provide flexibility where possible. Salary, Benefits, and Payroll Salaries are paid on a [weekly/monthly] basis via bank transfer. Professionalism and Integrity All employees are expected to maintain high standards of professionalism at all times. This includes respectful behavior, clear communication, and adherence to company policies and procedures. Confidentiality As healthcare professionals, you may have access to sensitive client information. It is your responsibility to ensure that this information is treated with the utmost confidentiality. Unauthorized disclosure of confidential information may lead to disciplinary action. Ethical Standards Employees must adhere to the highest ethical standards and legal requirements in providing care and services. This includes respecting clients' rights, treating them with dignity, and ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Dress Code and Uniform Policy Uniforms must be worn at all times when on duty, and employees are expected to maintain a neat and professional appearance. If a uniform is not provided, employees should adhere to the company’s dress code policy, which includes business-casual attire. Social Media and Communication Employees should maintain a professional image both within and outside of the workplace. When discussing work matters on social media, all employees must exercise caution to protect the reputation of Medall Healthcare and its clients. Sharing confidential information or making disparaging remarks is strictly prohibited. Substance Abuse and Wellness Medall Healthcare maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding substance abuse. 5. Training and Development

Onboarding and Orientation All new employees will undergo an onboarding process that includes a comprehensive orientation to Medall Healthcare, its policies, and procedures. 6. Attendance & Leave Policies

Attendance Expectations Regular attendance is crucial to providing consistent care. Employees are expected to notify their supervisor in advance if they will be late or absent. Sick Leave and Reporting Sickness Sick leave is granted in accordance with statutory requirements. Employees must notify their manager as soon as they are unable to attend work due to illness. A doctor’s note may be required for extended absences. Annual Leave and Time-Off Requests Employees are entitled to [X] days of paid annual leave per year. Confidentiality and Data Protection Employees must ensure that all client data is handled with confidentiality and in compliance with the GDPR. Client Care Plans Each client receives a personalized care plan that outlines their needs, preferences, and goals. It is important to follow these care plans and make updates as required. Client Interaction Protocols When interacting with clients, always demonstrate respect and professionalism. Be responsive to their needs, and ensure they are informed and involved in decisions related to their care. Handling Client Complaints and Concerns If a client or their family expresses dissatisfaction with care, it is your responsibility to listen, document the concern, and report it to your supervisor immediately. Resolving client complaints effectively is a key part of maintaining high care standards. .

11. End of Employment

Resignation Process If you wish to resign from your position, please submit a written notice in line with your contract terms. During your notice period, you are expected to continue fulfilling your responsibilities. Retirement Medall Healthcare values the contributions of all employees, including those nearing retirement. HR will assist with planning and any transition necessary. Exit Interviews An exit interview will be conducted when you leave the company to gather feedback on your experience at Medall Healthcare. Your feedback is important to us for continuous improvement. Return of Company Property All company property, including uniforms, equipment, and documents, must be returned before your employment ends. Failure to do so may result in deductions from your final paycheck.
